It is made from a high-performance three layer nylon fabric that keeps out wind and rain without sacrificing breathability. Its Bemis taped seams ensure that there are no weak points through which water can penetrate. The jacket’s adjustable sleeve cuffs, double storm flap, zip-through stand collar and stowable hood provide almost total coverage, while zippers under the arms can be opened for improved ventilation. The hood and waist include locking drawcords for a custom fit. The jacket features a hidden map pocket for storage, as well as large front pockets and sleeve pockets that support sew-on patches. It can also be worn with Tru-Spec’s Polar Fleece Jacket for additional layered warmth.
